Decent knife, as are all Kizer knifes I have purchased. This knife I believe has 154CM steel, which is a decent stainless steel, but far from the top of the line modern PM steels like s30v. Handle material is micarta, which is sturdy, oils well, and looks nice. Knife uses a liner lock which is fairly standard these days: better than a slip joint, not quite as good as a frame lock.
Altogether the materials are well processed, machined, and assembled into a quality knife that I would be very satisfied carrying around. Regular price is I think $60, which I think is a little high for this knife, but I’d buy this knife for $40ish (I think I paid as low as 30$). Again, not my favorite Kizer knife but for a budget blade this is a solid choice. I haven’t used it much, but it feels sturdy enough that it will last through years, maybe decades of daily use.
