Kizer De L’ Orme

The top flipper design action of this knife is a joy it is extremely fidget friendly. The flipper tab is a low cut mohawk shape that is so minimalistic yet the finely cut jimping provides just the perfect traction to deploy the blade. I believe this may be very well be the easiest of the front or top flipping design to most quickly learn and use. I was flipping the knife right out of the box so easily with the thumb or index finger. This Justin Lundquist design and Kizer’s manufacturing really combined to make this a masterpiece. So aesthetically pleasing from the stonewashed CPM-20CV reverse tanto blade, the excellent milled titanium pocket clip, to G10 and carbon fiber 5 slot inlaid handle scales that are so symmetrical, beautiful, and functional. What’s not to like? This knife is a must have.
Only issue I had is with my order, I ordered this knife and also a Latt Vind Mini, they were both sent by Mojave Outdoors in a thin bag thus allowing the Kizer presentation boxes to be damaged in transit. Why shouldn’t they be sent in an structural box so that the knife and presentation boxes would be better protected from damage? I inquired by email to Mojave Outdoors on 8-19-21 and I am awaiting to hear back if my future orders could be sent in a structural box and how I could request this when ordering more Kizer products. Thank you, both Kizer and Mojave Outdoors.
